It works pretty well, the magnet is strong, and it shifts relatively easily from one camera to the other. Sometimes it is difficult to get the phone to sit perfectly vertical or horizontal (the phone is very heavy). It would also be great if it completely covered the lenses that aren't being used with soft fabric or other material. Light is still detected while taking photos, and sometimes the camera tries to swap back and forth (photo, not video). I would definitely recommend this for birders who try to digiscope! I've tried a lot of products, and this is still the best I've found.

I have tried many different ones over time and this is the best I have tried. I am going to BC on a mountain goat hunt in 4 days so it will have to be tested thoroughly.

The custom fit makes installation simple. The magnets are strong and I can use my existing phone case. What's not to like?
I’ve used 4-5 other digiscope systems and the Epoch Mountain Mag blows the others out of the water. MagSafe based is an awesome feature, super quick to get video, small eyepiece adapter, no special phone cases, priced well, quality build, etc. Awesome product!
