I love how quick and easy the Mountain mag is to attach straight my existing phone case. The eye piece does not rotate and is very secure! Great product! Only think I can say is I need one for an iPhone SE second gen for my wife!
Using with Athlon Ares Spotting Scope. Works just as expected. Easy to set up. Easy to take along. Iphone default camera does not work so well. I got Final Cut App and it works great. Only takes videos (as far as i can tell) but can snapshot any frame you like. Pictures are crisp. Works seamless. Will be getting eyepiece for my binoculars too.
Just received my Mountain Mag and it’s awesome. I didn’t have a MagSafe case so I bought the stick on magnets for my otter box. The magnets are too strong and would overpower the stick on the magnets. I had to bond them onto my phone case. Works great now. I would definitely recommend this product. Love how it centers everything onto your spotter.
I’ve had quite a few different ones, then I’ve had to buy them over again every time I got a new phone or case. This system makes it so you only have to buy another “part 2” when you upgrade phone and case.
They were great to chat to, quick response answering my questions. I was curious about compatibility with my Rockform case and wondering if the indexing magnet would still index on Rockforms bar magnet. They assured me it would just maybe not quite as well as a case without a bar. Told me I could return no prob if it didn’t work the way I wanted
It works great. And it is rock solid combined with rockforms magnets. This is the fastest system be ever deployed and I’ve tried pretty much all of them. Well done Epoch outdoors!
So easy to carry and use. You don't even realize the adapter is on your optics! The magnetic case adapter fits easily in my bino harness. I can keep my phone in it's protective case and then pop it out when I need to take photos. Super simple.
I have tried about a half dozen digiscope adapters at this point and all of them have one thing or another that's super annoying. The mountain mag is a no fuss setup with no annoying design features to slow you down. Just get one, you wont regret it.
The magnets are strong and the whole construction is really solid with a nice tight fit.

Great product, excellent price point and it lines up right away. Only issue I have is when I pull it off my spotting scope it takes the scope adapter with it instead of it staying on the scope.
I’ve tried all the phone to scope adapter brands you can think of, and from poor mechanics, bulky cases or poor customer service I just wasn’t content. I tried out the Epoch system this year and I’ve been really happy with it. It fits my scope perfectly, uses the magnet already in my phone and the adapter is super easy to not only put on but switch between lenses. I’ll be ordering a fitting for my binoculars in the near future!
Fits the Swarovski scope eyepiece perfectly. Attachment to the iPhone is solid. I was looking for a digiscoping option that did not require a phone case and this is a great solution.

The ability to attach a mag ring and orient the scope lens to the phone camera lens is great - the magnetic rings provide excellent stability and fast on/off - very little fiddling
Great for someone who wants to use a phone besides Apple or Samsung - I used the self adhesive magnetic ring on a Moto 5G 2023 on a Swaro ATC - great pictures and video
