The main magnet that connects to the phone fell out the moment I attached the adapter to my phone. Looked at it and you can see glue residue in the entire channel. It was only warm the day it was delivered, 100* F, so I am unsure why the glue failed.
I did send an email to [****] per their published Refund Policy to see about an exchange on June 5, 2025. A week has gone by with no response.
I want to like it but the immediate failure and not hearing back does not lend itself well to me picking up three more adapters for my other optics.
I was really hoping to love this digiscoping adapter but not so much. The flip lens idea is great but totally useless for the iPhone 15 pro. The third lenses is the ultra wide angle lenses and useless for digiscoping. Therefore the switch lens idea for the iPhone 15 pro
Is a waste of materials adding extra weight and confusion to the setup. Also one of the magnets came out of the eye piece for my spotting scope in the first day of use. The next complaint is that the mountain mag is NOT compatible with all MagSafe cases. This drove me bonkers at first because I could not get the mountain mag to line up with my optics no matter what I tried. I finally discovered that my really nice mag safe case causes a misalignment of the magnets and I can’t use it to digiscope. I had to buy an all new case for my phone which defeats the purpose of this device. Overall, I do very much like the idea of this product. I just wish it was made with these things in mind. They need to make a specific model that works for this phone without the switch lens concept and also sell all the components in a package instead of à la carte. I can’t fault the product for not lining up with my original phone case as I suspect it’s more of a case problem but still annoying that I have to buy a different phone case. Had I known this I would have just got the phone skope version instead.
Magnets are strong and setting up is a breeze. Way easier to use compared to the Phone Scope.
The design is awesome, blows the other magnetic brands out of the water BUT…. An iPhone wants to use all cameras at once to set the scene, so taking photos can be very frustrating even when following directions. Downloading the Final Cut app made videos a breeze I just wish they had a camera option on that app or what these guys would put out an app on their own!
Only other complaint would be more of a recommendation for the future I already discussed with the owners of making this piece in a blaze orange option so it doesn’t get left behind.
Overall, very glad I switched over for the ease, weight saving and customer service!

Didn't use this on my I 11 phone, upgraded to I-16 so used this on my office to hold the adapter when not on my spotting scope,, works great.
I was worried about covering the lens of my spotter as my previous set up had a magnetic flip cover. This guy stays on secure and way lighter than the previous company. No brainer purchase.

Snug fit on my razor UHD which was a huge relief As some reviews online had concerns that the eye piece pulls off when removing the adaptor. This was not the case at all.

The brilliant system allows you to use your own MagSafe case and hence all your other MagSafe accessories. Couldn’t be simpler to use. Snaps into any MagSafe case using the alignment tab to align perfectly. The magnets then align with the appropriate eyepiece adapter for your optics. Mine is Swaro ATC. Instant alignment! You do have to adjust the eye relief on your scope to get maximum illumination but that’s a one time deal.

This is a great growing small company, and they treat you like family. Very nice people. Their product works flawlessly. I looked at all of the reviews before making my purchase. I did need to "stop and breathe" to dial in my phone settings, but their online instructions made it simple. I highly recommend this product and no, I am not being paid to say this. John

The eyepiece fit perfectly on my SX 5 Santiago spotter, nice and tight yet still removable, but no need to remove it. The eyepiece does not interfere with dialing your eye relief or viewing through your spotter. Attached and unattached my iPhone to my spotter many times over the course of a 5 day trip to Yellowstone Park with no issues and perfect alignment every time. Anyone considering this system will not regret getting it.
Used numerous digital scoping fixtures from competitors, Mountain Mag flat out outperforms in every category (form, fit, design, size/weight, and effectiveness). You won’t be disappointed by this quality product as it is ergonomic and their quality customer service.
Works amazing so far the best I have used.
I really like the fact that I am able to use my preferred phone case with the mag mount.
