Was a little skeptical about how the eyepiece cover would work, but it was great. Kept the eyepiece dust free and could magnetize it to my tripod to keep it from blowing in the wind.
Awesome and simple product! I would highly recommend the mountain mag digiscope. I used it on my mule deer hunting trip in British Columbia Canada and it worked great!
IMPORTANT: make sure the phone case you use matches Apple magnet locations. First 3 cases I tried off Amazon were not placed exactly right which results in the camera not being exactly centered in the optic reducing image quality.
Now to the product. Works as designed. Only drawback is how tailored it is to a specific phone/optic. With three different binos, two spotting scopes, and two different phones between my dad and I, we require quite a few different parts in order to be able to use all of these. Otherwise easy to use with option to use multiple camera lens.
Snug fit on my Kowa scope; no risk of it rotating or falling off when the phone is attached. It's so snug that it's a little challenging to remove and re-install, but still possible to do this pretty quickly in the field. You can definitely use the scope with the eyepiece on, but it's not quite as comfortable and has a little more of a restricted view than the scope alone.
This fits/aligns perfectly on the iPhone 15 Pro, works well with both lenses, and is easy to take on and off and slip into a pocket when not using. Best phone scoping adapter on the market!
This Phone holder is great and simple. It makes taking photos when you are solo hunting a breeze. No more running around and trying to balance my phone on my pack or anything else.
Just got it and have been fooling around with it on my spotting scope. Seems the easiest of all the digiscope equipment I’ve owned to date. Excited to use it in the mountains soon.
