I have heard and seen countless things about digiscope products but could never find one that was truly justifiable for the price. With how adjustable and slick the Epoch kit was, i found my justification. The 4 star is due to the tolerance being slightly off from where my camera sits but zooming in 3x more on my phone gets rid of the binocular ring on the screen. Very sweet, incredibly helpful, and seems far sturdier than i imagined. The price is expensive but adds such another factor of easy and fun to hunting and watching animals that it seems well worth it now that i’ve purchased. I would recommend it!

I’ve used some of the better digiscoping adapters out there, such as the Ollin and MagView adapters, and this one is the best I’ve found that is the least restrictive and easy to use. Other adapters block your wide angle lens forcing you to remove the case to take a picture with your cell phone, other ones are cumbersome to line up. The mountain mag is a great, user friendly solution to all those problems. The spotting scope magnetic donut that goes over the eye piece of your binos or spotter is so low profile you hardly notice it, while being super secure. I’m a professional cameraman and love gear that looks great, gives me flexibility, and allows me to operate in a professional manner and this adapter checks all the boxes. I’m a big fan!
I have an iPhone 15 Pro and with no case on it lines up pretty well but still not perfect. With a case on it can’t e used, it could be my case and I have not tried other cases yet

I’ve tried all the phone to scope adapter brands you can think of, and from poor mechanics, bulky cases or poor customer service I just wasn’t content. I tried out the Epoch system this year and I’ve been really happy with it. It fits my scope perfectly, uses the magnet already in my phone and the adapter is super easy to not only put on but switch between lenses. I’ll be ordering a fitting for my binoculars in the near future!
Fits the Swarovski scope eyepiece perfectly. Attachment to the iPhone is solid. I was looking for a digiscoping option that did not require a phone case and this is a great solution.

The ability to attach a mag ring and orient the scope lens to the phone camera lens is great - the magnetic rings provide excellent stability and fast on/off - very little fiddling
Great for someone who wants to use a phone besides Apple or Samsung - I used the self adhesive magnetic ring on a Moto 5G 2023 on a Swaro ATC - great pictures and video

We have tried to use a lot of other phone mounts and spent more time messing around trying to get the lenses to line up to get on target. This is great just snap it on and go. It makes life so much easier to setup and confirm impacts at distance. I will definitely be outfitting my other spotters with these.
Works on optic while looking through. No issues with obstructed vision.
