This eyepiece fits perfectly onto your binoculars or spotting scope, contouring seamlessly to your existing eyepiece. This allows you to leave it permanently attached to your optic and use it as normal. When you're ready to digiscope, simply use the Mountain Mag Digiscope Adapter to connect the eyepiece and your phone, capturing epic photos and videos that matter most to you.

This patent pending digiscope system makes no compromises: no special case required, no covered lenses when not in use, seamless auto-alignment and connection with your optic, lightning-fast operation, a perfectly fitting eyepiece, and the ability to target both standard and zoom lenses.

It seems to work really well so far

It seems to work really well so far, i’ve used it a few times now out in the field. My only complaint is that sometimes it comes off the scope when I attempt to pull my phone off, which doesn’t really bother me it takes 2 seconds to push it back on.

Works as expected

This is a quality setup and design. It seems to have checked all the boxes for me as an iPhone user. It doesn’t mess up the MagSafe or wireless charging, the phone piece uses the MagSafe for attachment and alignment, it is slim and light, and allows me to use my normal phone case.

It is easy and fast to setup. The only downside I thought of (didn’t experience though) was if you are picking up the whole tripod setup with phone to move it a few feet and bump the tripod on a rock or something, I could imagine the magnets not being strong enough and the phone knocking loose and falling to the ground. I wouldn’t want the magnets any stronger than they already are though. So this negative can be mitigated by removing the phone before moving the tripod. It will add a total of 2-3 seconds to remove and reinstall the phone.
