I’ve used 4-5 other digiscope systems and the Epoch Mountain Mag blows the others out of the water. MagSafe based is an awesome feature, super quick to get video, small eyepiece adapter, no special phone cases, priced well, quality build, etc. Awesome product!

I have been using the Mountain Mag device for about a month and my experiences with it is consistently positive. The system consists of two pieces, one cup adapter, sized per binocular model, and one magsafe phone adapter, per your specific phone model. The phone adapter provides the option of shooting normal or telephoto mode with the ease. The binocular adapter slides on and off the eye cup with minimal force, yet maintains a very secure magnetic ring to which your phone adapter magnetically attaches. The phone adapter pops on and off your phone case, again with ease yet secure during use.
Even though you do have to buy a different eyecup adapter for each differently sized binocular or scope in your inventory, they are a one time well made and relatively inexpensive investment. The same is true for your phone adapter, although that single phone adapter works with all eyecup adapters you own.
Your field experience is simple. Press your eyecup adapter in place, magsafe phone adapter in place and CLICK! The strong magnets hold the phone camera to the eyepiece securely enough for hands off shooting in horizontal or vertical format. When done, both adapters can be left in place leaving both the binoculars and phone usable in their normal manner.
