I purchased both the eyepiece and the adapter. My eyepiece was not listed on the website and was able to talk to someone and get a comparison item that fit. When I received the product it was slightly too big. I asked what others have done in that past and got suggestions to make it fit. The customer service I received was amazing! I love the product and look forward to taking it on many trips in the future!
Love this setup. I can easily pop it on and off my phone. I like that I can consolidate which lens I want to use on my phone. The owner also answered my questions ASAP and made sure I was taken care of for a quickly approaching trip. I will be ordering another eyecup for my other optics soon! Thanks!!!
First of all, this product is great. Super simple, works perfect with zero complaints. The customer service is even better than the product. We ordered the wrong eyepiece, not once, but twice - this was entirely our fault, not theirs. Both times we reached out they were very quick to respond. The second time, we sent them a picture of our binos. They ended up getting the specs of the discontinued product and made a custom mold for us! You could not ask for better service.
Functions flawlessly and I don't need to commit to a dedicated phone case to run a digiscope. I just slap it on the case that I already have (Caudabe Sheath) and pop it off when I'm done.
We had some issues getting the correct eyepiece picked out for our binos (not the company's fault at all) and they were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to get us all set up!

This adapter has fixed so many of the issues that I have had with other brands. I can have any MagSafe phone case on the market, the same adapter works for both my spotter and binoculars, the optic adapters are a very sleek design and I hardly notice them, and connecting my phone to my optic has never been faster. I am very impressed with this product and can’t wait to see what Epoch Outdoors comes out with next! Thank you for building such a practical product!

It’s simply the best system currently on the market. It extremely lightweight (1.4 oz complete for the BTX).
I hardly even notice the mount on my binoculars. This design was very well thought through. In my opinion this is the best digiscope system on the market.
I have tried several Digiscope adapters on the market, Magview, Ollin, etc and although the others worked well, there were a few things that I didn't like about them. I have now used the Mountain Mag system multiple times and it works flawlessly, nothing about the system that I don't like or see room for improvement. if you are thinking of buying the Mountain Mag system, don't hesitate!

I would like to start with their customer service. I ordered the wrong eyepiece first and when I received it it was too big for my spotter. I contacted them and they sent me the correct adapter out immediately, no questions asked. It’s hard to find good customer service these days and their’s is GREAT!

Finally, someone took the technology that was already out there, the Magsafe system that is on the newer IPhones, and adapted it to your digiscope system....BRILLIANT! No more bulky phone cases that doesn’t even protect your phone. The Mountain Mag system works flawlessly for me and it so quick to use. I don’t even take my eyepiece off when out in the field spotting as a result of the small, slim design that doesn’t get in the way when spotting. I also bought the magnetic cover for the eyepiece and my spotter cover goes over them both easily. When I do connect my phone, it’s so fast and always aligns perfectly.
I have tried several of the digiscope systems on the market and many of them work good, but all of them had one or two things about them that I didn’t like. I honestly can’t find one thing with the Mountain Mag system that I don’t really like.
One last thing: I saw in the reviews on here that someone that is using a iPhone 16, like myself, is having problems with the screen being blacked out on his phone. The IPhone 16 system uses the zoom lens only, unlike the 16 pro, etc.
All you have to do is slightly zoom in your lens only your phone before or after attaching to the adapter and it’s clear as a bell.

The Mountain Mag Digiscope fits perfect & is easy to use. Really like not having a case that either has to stay on my phone or I have to take it off & on. This set up works great!!
