Leupold spotters and binoculars are built for the same country the Mountain Mag was built in, and we fit the full current line: the SX-2 Alpine HD, SX-4 Pro Guide HD and SX-5 Santiam HD spotters, the Gold Ring and Mark 4, and the BX-2 through BX-6 binoculars. A Mountain Mag eyepiece stays on your Leupold full-time and your phone attaches magnetically when you want a photo or video through the glass.

What to know about Leupold optics
Leupold's generations matter. The SX-2 Alpine HD and SX-4 Pro Guide HD spotters each have a Gen 1 and a Gen 2 eyepiece, and they are not interchangeable, so check which generation you own before ordering. The Gold Ring and Mark 4 spotters share one eyepiece. On the binocular side the BX-4 Range HD is split into Gen 1 and Gen 2, the BX-5 Santiam HD is split by objective size (x42 and x50 together, x56 on its own), and the BX-4 Pro Guide HD Gen 2, BX-6 Range HD, BX-2 Alpine HD and BX-1 McKenzie HD each have their own.

How the Mountain Mag works on Leupold optics
The system is two parts. The Mountain Mag eyepiece contours to the existing eyepiece on your optic and stays there — you glass through it as normal, and it does not have to come off. The Mountain Mag adapter goes on your phone (no special case needed) and snaps onto the eyepiece magnetically, self-centering your camera over the glass. Seat it until you feel the magnets lock and shoot. Pull the phone off when you are done; the eyepiece stays put.
You order the eyepiece by optic model (the table above) and the adapter by phone model (choose your phone here). The Mountain Mag camera app locks your phone to the right lens so it does not hunt between cameras mid-shot.

Does the Mountain Mag fit the Leupold SX-4 Pro Guide HD?
Yes. There is a Gen 1 eyepiece and a Gen 2 eyepiece, and they are different, so pick your generation in the table above.
Does it fit the SX-5 Santiam HD and the SX-2 Alpine HD?
Yes. The SX-5 Santiam HD has one eyepiece. The SX-2 Alpine HD is split into Gen 1 and Gen 2.
Which eyepiece do I order for a Gold Ring or Mark 4 spotter?
They share one Mountain Mag eyepiece, listed once in the table above.
Do you fit Leupold binoculars too?

Can I leave the eyepiece on my Leupold all the time?
Yes. The Mountain Mag eyepiece is meant to stay on and you glass as normal. The phone adapter attaches magnetically only when you want to shoot.
My Leupold model isn't listed. Can you still fit it?
Often, yes. Check that the eyepiece end is straight and not tapered, measure its outside diameter with digital calipers to the nearest tenth of a millimeter, and send us the reading with your model. We will tell you which eyepiece to order or whether one is coming.
