Maven and Epoch are both small Western companies selling direct, and a lot of our customers run Maven glass. We fit the whole line: the S-series and CS-series spotters and every current B-series and C-series binocular. A Mountain Mag eyepiece stays on your Maven full-time and your phone attaches magnetically when you want a photo or video through the glass.
Which Mountain Mag eyepiece fits your Maven optics

What to know about Maven optics
Maven reuses eyepiece designs across models, which keeps the table short. The S.1, S1.2 and S.3 spotters share one Mountain Mag eyepiece and the S.2 has its own; the CS.1 and CS.2 share one. On the binocular side the B.1 and B.2 share an eyepiece, the B1.2, B.5 and B.6 share another, and the B.3, B.7 and C.4 each have their own. The C.1 and C.3 share an eyepiece that also fits the Vortex Solo monocular.

How the Mountain Mag works on Maven optics
The system is two parts. The Mountain Mag eyepiece contours to the existing eyepiece on your optic and stays there — you glass through it as normal, and it does not have to come off. The Mountain Mag adapter goes on your phone (no special case needed) and snaps onto the eyepiece magnetically, self-centering your camera over the glass. Seat it until you feel the magnets lock and shoot. Pull the phone off when you are done; the eyepiece stays put.
You order the eyepiece by optic model (the table above) and the adapter by phone model (choose your phone here). The Mountain Mag camera app locks your phone to the right lens so it does not hunt between cameras mid-shot.
Frequently asked questions
Does the Mountain Mag fit the Maven S.1 and S.3?
Yes. The S.1, S1.2 and S.3 all take the same Mountain Mag eyepiece. The S.2 takes a different one.
Does it fit the Maven CS.1 and CS.2?
Yes, and they share one eyepiece.
Which eyepiece do I order for Maven B-series binoculars?
B.1 and B.2 share one. B1.2, B.5 and B.6 share one. B.3 and B.7 each have their own. Find your model in the table above.
Do you fit the Maven C-series?
Yes. The C.1 and C.3 share an eyepiece, and the C.4 has its own.
Can I leave the eyepiece on my Maven all the time?
Yes. The Mountain Mag eyepiece is meant to stay on and you glass as normal. The phone adapter attaches magnetically only when you want to shoot.
My Maven model isn't listed. Can you still fit it?
Often, yes. Check that the eyepiece end is straight and not tapered, measure its outside diameter with digital calipers to the nearest tenth of a millimeter, and send us the reading with your model. We will tell you which eyepiece to order or whether one is coming.
